The Challenge

Companies dedicated to products selling and distribution need agility in their street sales operations, such as taking orders from clients, prepare them for the daily distribution, invoicing, cashing and stock.

Solution

The solution involves three components: First a mobile application, where sales persons can collect sales while visiting customers. Second a web site and an API, where the mobile app sends and receive data, and also it's a backend for administration. And third a windows service which works as a bridge between the ERP used by de company and our solution, allowing the transfer of data between both systems (products, stock, prices, orders, etc.)

Customers, Products, Prices, Stock are taken from the ERP by the integrator system, and then saved in the web site. The mobile application connects to the API to check if there´s something new. All the administration of the mobile devices, users, permissions, vendors is done from the web, where users can also see sales in the map and get several reports.

Results

Agility is achieved both in the sales and the billing processes with the client, as well as in the preparation of deliveries. In addition, there´s a better control over the sales force by having in real time the sales on a map, knowing exactly when and where orders are taken.
